Derek Malone reviews sandbox games the way engineers test bridges: load them until something interesting happens, then write down exactly how it failed. GoreBox 27 is his favourite kind of assignment, a game whose whole personality is a physics system, and he has been stress-testing its builds since early access opened.
What he does here
Derek installs every build we publish on the full test rack, then plays the way the community plays: sandbox experiments with the Reality Crusher pushed past sense, bot lobbies, hosted rooms with friends, public sessions with strangers. His guides come from those hours, including the settings that keep big scenes playable and the hosting habits that keep a room fun.
His reviewing standard
A sandbox earns its rating in minute forty, not minute four: when the systems have had time to collide, surprise him, and occasionally bring the frame rate to its knees, in that order. Anything that is only fun in the trailer gets written up as exactly that.

Derek's testing notes and per-build findings feed the blog on this site, where new guides appear as the game grows through early access.
